Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), an affiliate of US Chambers of Commerce & Industry for the last several years is working on the Chamber’s and Association Development. It has held three Secretary General’s Conference bringing together CEO’s of Chambers and Associations of Pakistan at one platform to give them training on important Business Support Organizations issues and provided opportunities to discuss key areas relating their organizations.
In April 2011, 3rd Secretary General Conference was held, where it was decided to launch BSO’s Form that would provide Secretary Generals to share important matters and information regarding trade bodies. Taking this concept forward, the Forum would mainly focus on:-
· regulatory Framework
· sharing of best practices and ideas
· opportunity of networking
· exchange of general information
· trends of international trade
· connecting with international trade bodies
This forum is open for all Secretary Generals of Pakistan and would also encourage CEO’s and representatives of international BSO’s to join.
